Quality Inn Elyria

Meeting AMY the nice housekeeper was the best part of my experience here. Haven’t read other reviews but the rest is probably how they say. Caught a flat passing through here in the middle of the night and stayed.

We usually stay in Hilton properties and this was a step down from usual choices, but the locality and price were good. I admit I was worried but I was pleasantly surprised. It seems to be family managed. The lobby furniture was shabby and the room had some dust under the beds. There were not lots of breakfast choices. But the service was friendly, there were no bugs, the mattresses and linens were clean and very comfy. I check mattresses and box springs thoroughly before climbing into a bed and have left nicer appearing hotels twice when I found evidence of bed bugs. They do permit pets. If we go back this way I would stay again.

I stopped here for the night on a long road trip, and desperately just needed a good night's rest. I have misophonia so the first thing I did was request a room away from other guests, since any kind of noise through the wall would keep me up. The man at the counter was happy to help and gave me a room upstairs. The hallway wasn't silent as he suggested, but there certainly was no one in the rooms adjacent to mine and it was peaceful. The room itself was clean, the AC / heater worked great and soon I was off to dreamland. Breakfast in the morning was simple but tasty. (I recommend the waffles). All in all it was a great experience for a cheaper hotel and I would definitely stop back.

First, let me say the room was clean and very comfortable. And this review is mostly for the owner manager of this quality inn. First of all there was not a noticeable sign, stating that this was a quality inn. The side outdoor doors did not lock. so anyone from the outside could enter the building unnoticed. Thirdly the breakfast options could be improved. To warm up already cooked eggs and calling that an omelette was not appealing. Not enough Bagels were available. The orange juice was very.watery. The waffle batter was very watery. It needed to be stirred before putting it on the waffle maker. That being said that the breakfast was disappointing if you are just looking for a reasonably priced hotel to spend the night and then move on, I would recommend it.

It is always an affordable place to stay with excellent service. The air conditioner in the room was a little loud for my liking. The service manager, Rebecca, is a keeper. Quality Inn. She was respectful and helpful with my remote-controll dilemma. Would stay again in the future.

Easy to get to. Easy to check in. Clean room. Good Continental+ breakfast. (I miss the fresh fruit). Worked great for our needs.

Bed was good, especially after 10 hr. Location was close to interstate 90. Breakfast was okay. Egg omelet and breakfast sandwich were store bought and in frig. Heat up yourself. Waffles, cereal, juice,oatmeal packets, and coffee. No flavored coffee creamer.

I recently stayed for a full week at the Quality Inn Elyria, and I can say without hesitation that it exceeded my expectations. This is an older property that has clearly been remodeled and well-maintained. Everything appeared to be in very good condition. My room was exceptionally clean, orderly, and well-kept throughout my stay, which, in my experience, is not always the case even at higher-priced hotels. I travel extensively, both across the United States and internationally, so I have seen the full spectrum — from outstanding properties to those that fall well short. This Quality Inn is a genuine hidden gem. It offers a quiet, restful environment without unnecessary frills, and the value for the price is hard to beat. If you are looking for a clean, dependable, reasonably priced place to stay in Elyria, I highly recommend this hotel.
